White, Blue, Orange hue

Talk about a bucket list destination. This was one postcard-worthy town painted in blue and white – an absolute delight! The locals were friendly and welcoming, and don’t get me started on the sunsets and golden hour. I’d highly recommend staying somewhere with views of the famous Santorini caldera!

We stayed in Fira, trekked to Oia (1.5h one way), and almost got attacked by a rabid stray dog along the way as I tried to dance to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Never again.
Santorini is expensive (€25 for a plate of vegetarian pasta), so come prepared for extortionate meals and quite literally paying for everything at a (ridiculous) price.
Night views on rooftop terraces make it worth it, though. This town has great vibes, good music, and beauty beyond the seven seas. I would love to return!

Key highlights:
- Staying in accommodation overlooking the caldera
- The beauty of the entire island from just about any point
- Golden hour
- Catamaran sunset cruise (with food and drinks)
- Discovering donkey soap
