Edinburgh

Magical, Medieval, Festive

Edinburgh has got to be one of my favourite cities: the cobbled streets, drinking Irn Bru and the overall charm it possessed.

I mean, it’s sort of home to Harry Potter *squeals*. It definitely has a magical feel to it as you stroll down the streets, encapsulated by medieval castles and countless shops and cafes that honour the birth of The Chosen One.

I intend to return and explore the mountainous regions. Perhaps even hop on the Jacobite train and get a taste of the Hogwarts Express.

Key Highlights:

  • The Elephant House
  • The Writersโ€™ Museum
  • Edinburgh Castle
  • Arthurโ€™s Seat
  • Calton Hill
  • Royal Mile
  • Victoria Street and West Bow
  • Edinburgh Old Town
  • Edinburgh Zoo

Overall Rating: 8/10
